Libraries are always seeking new methods for communicating services and policies to their patrons and communities. Web sites and RSS feeds have extensively enhanced marketing efforts beyond traditional print and graphics methodology, and audiovisual applications for the web have recently become much easier to create, manage and use. However, now that the audiovisual moment is right, you still need to make “the movie” before you can put it on the web or vodcast it. This program will review the creation of a video tour of a law library, providing step-by-step guidelines and methods for creating a video—script, storyboard, cast, location selection, equipment selection, filming, editing, credits and final print.
