Recent surveys indicate legal professionals feel overwhelmed with information, spending too much time sorting through content that ends up being useless. A significant challenge facing librarians today is getting the right information into the right user’s hands at the right time. With the explosion of content available and now required in the business and practice of law, finding the best method to deliver current awareness information has librarians clamoring for solutions. Once a current awareness program is implemented, it is a dynamic and evolving process due to attorney demands and technology advancements. This program will help librarians assess their firm’s current awareness needs, identify the available tools, work on an implementation plan, and outline methods to continue the evolution of the program.
