Tuesday, July 28 - 3:30pm - 4:00pm
Location:
WCC-Room 151 AB
Target Audience:
Private law librarians
Learning Outcomes:
1) Participants will be able to identify commercial and free databases to locate information about individuals.
2) Participants will learn how to implement the tips, ideas and methods for investigative research.

With a couple of bucks, you will be surprised what information can be uncovered about an individual. Thanks to the proliferation of both free and commercial databases, locating this type of information has never been easier. Whether it is finding a person’s current address and/or phone number or pinpointing any assets they may own, this session will teach you a new skill or enhance your present investigator skills. It will also teach you the pitfalls of these sources. This exciting presentation will unfold into three parts: people finder databases, public records and criminal information.

Speaker(s):
