The Bar Reading Room of the Supreme Court Library is one of the most beautiful spaces in the Supreme Court Building, if not the entire city of Washington. Designed by Cass Gilbert, the room was originally intended to be used by the Supreme Court Bar, with the Justices having a private library. Although this magnificent room is less frequented by the Bar today, it maintains an aura of refined elegance.
